Boxing Back In Poughkeepsie

 Brian Burke and Final Round Promotions will be back at The Mid Hudson Civic Center with ”The Heat Is On” boxing card on Saturday, July 10.In the eight-round main event, Newburgh’s Luis Del Valle (9-0, seven knockouts) will be fighting Pasqual Rouse (20-14, 11 KOs) for the New York state featherweight title. 

Del Valle is one of six local fighters on a boxing card featuring four heavyweight fights with Kevin McBride, Newburgh’s Nagy Aguilera, Poughkeepsie’s Detroy “Big Boy” Jones and Kimdo Bethel Boykin.

McBride, (37-year-old Irish heavyweight), is best known for his knockout win over Mike Tyson in 2005. McBride (34-6, 29 KOs) last fought in 2007.
